Every new guitarist looks for the instrument that best fits their playing style. The majority like the original Strat style, but some prefer the Les Paul. Most players who like a more aggressive tone opt for the Ibanez GXR20. After all, why wouldn’t they? It’s one of the greatest and most affordable entry-level guitars on the market. Not to mention that it’s a pleasurable experience to study on. We had to put it in our list of the best cheap guitars available right now because of their apparent worth.

One of the Ibanez GRX20’s best features is its tone. Ibanez crammed as much heat as they could into the guitar in order to set it apart from its immediate competitors and let the player to get the most out of a decent distortion. Even when you’ve improved your talent a little, tone and performance won’t be an issue for a novice.

The GRX line from Ibanez has the same level of quality and precision set-up as our most costly models, but at a price that won’t break the bank. You don’t have to start on a less-than-ideal instrument just because you’re a novice. The sooner you learn, the harder you rock; the better the guitar, the faster you learn.

Ibanez is one of the most popular brands in this price range for a reason. They put a lot of power into their entry-level guitars, which is quite appealing. All those looking for a blunt sword to fight the excessive amount of Dist boxes out there will flock to these.

3 reviews for Ibanez GRX20 Electric Guitar

  1. Finn Bailey

Because I’m a newbie, I didn’t want to spend too much. I figured it was worth a chance given the price. This guitar was in excellent shape when it arrived. There isn’t a single blemish on it. It’s also light and simple to play. I’ve added another Ibanez to my collection, and I couldn’t be more pleased!

  2. Tha Giant

The one drawback is that it doesn’t come with a gig bag, but other than that, it’s a wonderful low-cost replacement guitar that’s extremely light and plays and sounds excellent right out of the box. It arrived a day early, which was fantastic. Obviously, everything on the guitar is stock; you can modify the pickups and strings if you like, but for the price, this is a fantastic choice for beginners or as a low-cost replacement.

This guitar is my son’s favorite. The intonation is all over the place, and the movement is terrible straight out of the bag, so it does need a professional setup. We brought it to a nearby guitar shop and paid $50 to have it adjusted, intonated, and set up properly, and it now performs like any other $800 guitar. Recommended.
