Satin Gray JS32 Rhoads Electric Guitar Jackson JS Series guitars are quick, deadly, and affordable, making it easier than ever to acquire iconic Jackson tone, aesthetics, and playability without breaking the bank. New high-output ceramic-magnet pickups, graphite-reinforced maple necks, bound fingerboards and headstocks, and black hardware give more for less. The JS32 Rhoads features a basswood body, graphite-reinforced bolt-on maple speed neck, compound-radius (12″-16″) bound rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets, and Pearloid sharkfin inlays, and a bound headstock. Dual high-output Jackson humbucking pickups with ceramic magnets and three-way toggle switching, a Jackson-branded double-locking tremolo bridge, black hardware, and die-cast tuners are among the other features. The case is available for purchase separately.

The meaty tone of the standard pickups blends well with the dry character of the basswood body to provide a sound that is suitable for both traditional and modern heavy metal. The pickups are rather powerful and allow the guitar to cut through the mix – as you transition from rhythm to lead (which is a must with a guitar of this caliber! ), it will hold its position solidly in a band situation. While it isn’t flawless, it is excellent value for money!

The JS32’s value for money is one of its strongest aspects, and it’s one of the main reasons why it’s on our list of the best heavy metal guitars. You won’t go far wrong with this guitar if you want a deep metal tone, killer graphics, and a highly playable neck. It’s unquestionably a steal!

It’s an excellent guitar for the money, and I can tell there are some differences between it and an original RR. First, the body is smaller than the original, and the volume control is too close to the bridge pickup, which is a pain in the buttocks if you shred like me. I bought this guitar for my son, who likes this body type, and I didn’t want him to quit playing mine (lol). However, depending on your playing style, you must test it for yourself to see whether it is appropriate for you!

  2. Keith S.

This instrument has the feel and playability of a guitar costing three times as much. It stays in tune, and the tremolo bar, despite its low cost, performs the job. There’s no way to get more bang for your buck. Jackson is incredible!
