Description
Do you want to learn to play the guitar but don’t believe you can afford it? Reconsider your position! For less than $150, this super-budget combo set includes a full-size electric guitar, an amplifier, a gig bag, and other accessories! Is it a fantastic find or a piece of garbage? Let’s take a look.
What can you get for less than $150? The guitar in this starter set is, predictably, as basic as they come, but it’s not bad at all. It’s a simple Strat-style model from Best Choice Products, with a double-cutaway design that allows full access to all 22 frets of the rosewood fretboard, which sits on a strong bolt-on maple neck. The body is made of unidentified solid wood and is available in glossy black, blue, green, or a very warm and appealing sunburst finish. In terms of appearance, it’s not dissimilar to other cheap Strat-style guitars, and it can hold its own against Pyle and even Squier.
The amp is incredibly basic, just like the guitar, but it does the job. It’s a 10-watt BC GA10 amplifier, which is plenty for practice and jamming with another guitarist. Only volume, bass, and treble dials, as well as a channel selection switch and a headphone jack, are available. This is all well and good for keeping things simple, but it isn’t very versatile. However, as you progress, you’ll be able to upgrade the amp to something more powerful without difficulty.
Whether you want to learn to play the guitar but don’t have a lot of money or aren’t sure whether it’s the appropriate instrument for you, this super-budget bundle from Best Choice Products might be a good investment. This cheap starting kit delivers amazing value and convenience, with a basic but competent guitar, as well as an amp and accessories that do the job.

It’s an excellent guitar for beginners! This is the first guitar I’ve ever owned, and I believe it’s fantastic. The strings are really comfortable on my skin, and it’s a wonderful size! I like the fact that I received two sets of strings. (one that is already set up) The amplifier is also fantastic. If you intend on grooving out with your buddies, it may get very loud! The stand also includes a kickstand, which I think is quite useful for the way sound travels.
Now, there are a couple of things that aren’t so wonderful. On the first day, the strap snapped. The gig bag is more of a thin coating of plastic that covers your guitar when you put it away in storage, and it’s not at all protective. Overall, I still believe this guitar is deserving of 5 stars since it is very exceptional. It’s fantastic, and it works well for me:)

I wasn’t sure what to anticipate in terms of quality after reading some of the lower-rated reviews. As it turns out, I’m rather pleased with what I got. With no hum, the amplifier performs admirably. The guitar strings needed to be tuned, as I expected, so I used my Samsung phone to tune them using the free Boss Tuner Android software. In light of the package’s price, the guitar’s construction is rather outstanding. I examined every component of the instrument and found no evidence of shoddy construction. The polish is excellent, the frets are free of harsh edges, and the neck was perfectly straight right out of the box. Everything appeared to be extremely neatly put together. There are no loose pieces.
