Description

Many guitarists turn to Yamaha’s Pacifica Series when they want something familiar at a price that screams value. The PAC012 is the series’ entry-level model, and it’s quite popular among novices and guitarists searching for an economical axe to add to their arsenal. Let’s see what we can find out

Yamaha Pacifica guitars have been one of the greatest electric guitar values for over a decade, with exceptional tone and playability. The Pacifica series, which debuted in 1990, was inspired by the California session scene, which valued variety, performance, and originality. The Pacifica series was designed to accommodate a wide range of genres and play styles. Various pickup settings produce a wide range of sound characteristics, ranging from strong distortion to a pure clean tone.

For a model with a budget of fewer than two hundred dollars, the overall tone is commendable. The PAC012 isn’t going to blow you away with power ā€“ especially if you’re not a beginner ā€“ but it has lots of value. While the pickups are stock, they produce clear sounds with good output, and having three of them provides you a lot of flexibility in terms of tones. The beefy tones of the humbucker, in particular, will be highly handy for rock and metal guitarists, especially when compared to the three single-coils found on a standard entry-level Strat.

Yamaha, you’ve wowed us. If this is the first time you’ve heard of the Pacifica Series, it’s easy to see why it’s so popular. The PAC012 has a lot of appealing features, including design, tone, and price, and it will appeal to both seasoned musicians looking for a backup instrument and total beginners looking for their first guitar.

  1. Victor May

This is a great starting guitar. The amp has some flaws, but it’s not bad for a first amp. If you acquire this bundle, my top advise is to get a nice chord and have the instrument properly installed.

  2. Jackie Bowers

This is an excellent guitar for those who are just getting started.

  3. Archie S.

This is not a cheaply made guitar. For the price, it’s fantastic. It has a pleasant tone and is somewhat hefty. The hardware is all in fine working order. I’m surprised I got such a good instrument at such a low price.
